For example, it’s about real technological progress, the credibility of CO2 compensation and improving local living conditions.

Income from responsible tourism helps locals to better protect nature in the destination countries. Travel providers are drivers of sustainable development when they promote fair working conditions and profit sharing for the local population and local partners. They can bring the topic of sustainability closer to travelers by enabling appreciative experiences and experiences with local culture and nature.

The demands for sustainable travel are increasing. Given the growing world population with a globally emerging middle class, tourism will increase significantly. Tourism products worldwide must become more sustainable as quickly as possible. Tour operators have a responsibility to continue to offer unique tourism, but to prevent serious ecological and social consequential damage throughout the entire travel chain.
